Panther Stillness is the first meditation Terry explains in his book “Memoirs of a Wandering Ninja” This ancient wise meditation is called Panther Stillness because the image is like that of a panther, a rather large cat found in jungles, which can be found in the most awkward places, like sitting or laying high up in the branches of trees, while remaining still for hours and being aware of all that happens around. Follow along with Terry in this audio meditation as he helps you learn how to put your mind in state where it’s easier to cultivate pure awareness. In the Eagle Vision auditory meditation Terry helps you develop the ability of distancing yourself from thoughts and situations in your life to gain a different perspective: a “birds eye view.” The reason it’s called Eagle Vision is the eagle flies high above and from such a distance a vantage point is created as it’s now easier to see a fuller more rounded view of the world. When you’re too close to something, it often obstructs your objectivity, especially when you’re emotionally invested. It’s pretty hard to move a mountain, and that’s a good image for maintaining empowering states of mind. This is an excellent meditation to practice when you want to have healthy, positive thoughts and feelings in your life. Terry will take you on a journey where you will first experience a mountain of calmness and serenity. Then you will begin to visualize events in your life where you would want to have a more empowering state of mind. So they modeled after these creatures with the goal of becoming one with the animal and thus learning to possess the same physical qualities, skills, and spirit. Later the monks would the masters of different styles helping them to gain access to the strengths there teachers possessed in record time. In this guided meditation Terry will show you how you can easily accomplish your goal when you don’t think that you have the necessary resources.
